ADE is a culmination of 30 years of a blending of knowledge and experience in Gerontology, Endocrinology, and Adult Education.
ADE specializes in Gerontological Nursing and Long Term Care Management. We address the diabetes management issues unique to the geriatric population living in the long-term care environment, from independent living through hospice. The multi-system effects of diabetes and safety are emphasized.
ADE’s CDCES’s are experts in diabetes management, multi-systemic chronic disease management, and the ability to communicate and inspire Adult learners’ interest in mastering management skills for the diabetic/geriatric patient. Presenting diabetes pathophysiology throughout the lifespan increases understanding of the needs of the geriatric individual (especially safety). Seminars include return skills demonstrations to ensure competency.
